About Ruisdael Observatory

This testbed is developed as part of the Ruisdael Observatory. The observatory is a national initiative to build a nationwide observatory for measurements of the atmosphere that enable more concrete, detailed forecasts of the weather and air quality.

Being able to compare models amongst each other and to observations is therefore an essential to the goals of the consortium. More information on the background of the consortium, the various measurement sites, and published papers can be found on:
